Cyanotype Summer Series #3: Out of the Blue — Wet Cyanotypes & Toning

Sparrow Artspace hosts the third installment of artist Ana Zanella's Cyanotype Summer Series, a hands-on workshop that pushes the classic blue process into new territory using water, bleaching, and toning with everyday materials like coffee and tea. Working on both paper and fabric, participants explore wet techniques, botanical compositions, and unpredictable results, building a small collection of sample prints to take home in a printed canvas bag. Three hours of guided experimentation — no prior cyanotype experience required.
