Oct Anarchy Slam ft. ARI BA

Join Calgary Poetry Slam for a night of unfiltered expression and creative freedom. This is the Anarchy Slam, where the usual constraints are lifted so poets can truly let loose. The only rule that remains is the time limit. Feel free to bring props, wear costumes, or play a kazoo if it helps you connect with your piece. Doors open in the evening, followed by a brief sign-up period before the main show begins. Cash is the preferred payment method, with discounted rates available for students and those on a fixed income. The featured poet is ARI BA (she/her), a Calgary-based artist whose work explores personal empowerment and the persistent thoughts that keep her awake at night.
