Wargaming at The Military Museums

Collaborative wargaming blends digital and analog systems to drop participants into a community command environment, working through realistic historical scenarios. Over a three-hour session in the TMM Education Centre, players are assigned soldiers and vehicles, build a plan, issue orders into a virtual simulation, and adapt their tactics as the battle unfolds, with physical maps and artifacts grounding each scenario in its history. Presented by The Calgary Highlanders, these monthly sessions are designed to be accessible to everyone regardless of technical or military background.
