Learn the history and craft behind the jingle dress's signature sound in this hands-on afternoon workshop at The Confluence. Saulteaux-Métis artist Rey-J Horsefall and Métis artist Arlan LaVallee-Nairn guide participants through the historical and modern Indigenous use of jingle cones, then teach metalsmithing and cold-smithing techniques to cut and shape your own jingle cone keychain to take home. Materials, instruction, and admission to the Confluence Cultural Centre are included.
