Storytellers: Babar the Elephant

Join us for a charming morning concert that brings Jean de Brunhoff’s classic tale to life. This is an accessible introduction to classical music and storytelling, designed specifically for children and families. Pianist Carter Johnson performs selections from György Kurtág’s Játékok alongside Francis Poulenc’s L'Histoire de Babar, le petit éléphant. It’s a wonderful way to experience live music together while enjoying a beloved story. Registration is $5 per group, but to remove financial barriers, this fee is fully refunded upon attendance. You are welcome to donate your fee if you wish. A recording of the story is available to listen to ahead of time.
