Dialogues with the Piano

An evening that blends live piano with digital performance using Steinway & Sons Spirio player-piano technology. Pianists Winston Choi, Jon Kimura Parker, and Carter Johnson perform live alongside their own pre-recorded selves, creating layered musical conversations where past and present coexist. The program ranges from Bach and Shostakovich fugues to works by Ravel, Messiaen, and Alexina Louie, capped by a pre-concert chat at 6 pm on the art of programming and curation.
