Echoes in Motion

A Honens Festival concert where dance forms take centre stage across the centuries, from the elegance of the Baroque court to the fire of the modern concert hall. Pianists Jon Kimura Parker, Carter Johnson and Winston Choi join violinist MingHuan Xu to reimagine works by Couperin, Ravel, Stravinsky, Bartók and more in shifting combinations of violin, harpsichord and piano. A 6 pm pre-concert chat on collaboration and becoming the 'complete artist' precedes the 7 pm performance.
