Woezo Africa Music & Dance Theatre marks 20 years of African and Caribbean arts in Calgary with an immersive evening of performances spanning Traditional Ethiopian dance, Kuduro, Bikutsi, Coupé Décalé, and Azonto styles. Guest instructors Ordinateur (Paris) and Akosua Akoto (Atlanta) join participants from the BAD Program 3-Week Dance Intensive on stage at The GRAND's Flanagan Theatre. The evening also includes a cocktail reception with live music, an arts exhibit, a community canvas activity, and the premiere of a 20-year documentary.
