Calgary metalsmith and basket maker Crys Harse leads a hands-on rush-weaving workshop in cSPACE Marda Loop's 4th-floor Treehouse. Over three hours, participants twist locally sourced natural seagrass over a hand-built oak frame to take home a finished stool with that authentic, hand-woven vintage feel. Beginners are welcome — Crys guides everyone through the traditional seat-weaving technique at a relaxed pace.
