Connecting the downtown Eau Claire neighbourhood on the south bank with Hillhurst and Sunnyside on the north, it anchors the city's Bow River Pathway and sees up to 9,000 pedestrian and cyclist crossings daily. Free and open to all year-round, the Peace Bridge serves as a gathering point for Stampede fireworks viewings, community rides, public celebrations, and impromptu moments of civic pride.
