Built in 1992 through a gift from the Nickle Family Foundation, the Nickle Theatre is an intimate performance space inside Mount Royal University's Taylor Centre for the Performing Arts. The room hosts MRU Conservatory recitals, student showcases, jazz programming through JazzYYC, dance productions, and visiting community ensembles. It's a working teaching theatre — close to the stage, designed for hands-on training, and used year-round for ticketed public performances.
