Set on the eastern slope of Nose Hill Park in north-central Calgary, the Thorncliffe Greenview Community Association is a multi-use recreation and event hub that has served the neighbourhood since 1956. Behind one roof you'll find the 10,000 sq ft Main Hall (up to 500 seated for weddings, tradeshows, fundraisers and conferences), the 150-guest Thorncliffe Room with its hardwood dance floor and full bar, the 30-guest 5600 Room for smaller meetings and parties, the Forbes Innes Arena, four lanes of 5-pin bowling, four racquetball courts, seasonal pickleball courts, a gymnasium, an inclusive playground, community garden and the Thornview Seniors' Centre — anchored by The 56 restaurant and lounge. Memberships, drop-in skates, leagues and rentals are open to the wider Calgary community.
